What a great summer we had this year. It went so darn fast, with some great company, and I wish we could wind back the clock and “do” it again…. We kept so busy, we never got out camping until (our first and last this year) END of SEPTEMBER! But then Oregon is the greatest place for camping ANY time of year.
Mom and dad gave us three weeks to laugh, look, listen, and learn from and with them. They arrived just before the 4th of July. We had some great walks on the beach, and some great “hang” time.
Nephew Orion gave us some great memories for a little over a week around the Labor Day holiday. He is an amazing young man, and we experienced
two amazing
moments
-among many-
together: looking at the stars, galaxies, and nebulas into wee hours of the morning, and the other was that he became an investor in the stock market; now has his own Ameritrade account, and is MAKING MONEY on that Apple stock (you go, O!)
We’ve got a wonderful young woman living with us now, and are blessed every time we get to sit and talk…and laugh together. Rae is an amazing lady, and if we were able to pick a daughter out of anybody, she’d be in our cart for sure. But then we don’t have to worry about that. She’s already in our home. Welcome home, Raysie!
I was asked to "preach" a week or so ago. If you want to listen to it, CLICK HERE.
