I am one of those that you sometimes hear about. I got lucky. Mom and dad are visiting from PA. They’ve been here for 2 weeks, with one to go, and we’re making some memories. Standing between them singing, “America, the Beautiful” was one of those. That was at Freedom Celebration at church on July 1. Then to the park as our band played Concert in the Park. Lots of time at the coast…walks, breaking some bread together…praying together. Today dad and I finished trimming some windows. That guy can still run a straight saw through wood! The highlight of mom’s day (maybe the week!) was outlet shopping. One week to go. It is going so fast. Thank you, God, for two of the most wonderful parents…and some wonderful memories…
